Eating Well

This was, without a doubt, the year of the cronut, Dominique Ansel's insanely popular croissant-doughnut hybrid. But there were other things to eat as well, from sous-vide llama at Claus Meyer's Gustu in Bolivia, to $500 meals at Meadowood in California, to bone marrow oatmeal at Aska in Williamsburg. So here are some of the best dishes I tried this year in New York, the San Francisco Bay Area, Lima and La Paz.
