Risky Business

Google CEO Larry Page says companies shouldn't be preoccupied with the competition. "You don’t want to be looking at your competitors," he told Bloomberg Businessweek last year. "You want to be looking at what's possible and how to make the world better."

Whether Page likes it or not, technology companies are certainly looking at Google. The Internet giant ranked as one of the top 10 most dangerous tech companies based on filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Bloomberg Rankings analyzed the annual reports filed by the 50 largest U.S. tech companies by market value. The team then tallied the number of times a company was listed in the standard risk factors or competitors sections. (Because of a tie, there are actually 11 companies on the list.)

Click on to find out which artificial-intelligence-loving company the tech industry thinks is the greatest threat. And no, it's not Google.
