Reference No. 1518

Milan banker Alfredo Paramico has devoted more than a decade to acquiring 10 rare Patek Philippe watches, and his assemblage now ranks as one of the top 10 worldwide, worth about $25,000,000 (20,000,000 euro).

Here, a reference No. 1518 in steel, made in 1943. The first such model made, and only four are known to exist. With a perpetual calendar and chronograph, the piece was a milestone of Patek manufacturing and is the most important watch in the collection.
Estimated value: $6,000,000
