Remember those banquet menus we looked at on Monday? We now know the spread that Chinese leader Xi Jinping offered his esteemed guests: Tomato soup with lobster, crispy beef ribs, Beijing roast duck, stewed veggies, slow-cooked salmon with mustard, pan-fried pork buns, trumpet shell pastries and … tiramisu??? I can’t imagine President Donald “I Won’t Even Drink a Cup of Coffee” Trump would enjoy espresso-soaked ladyfingers, but what do I know.
