I spent part of Thursday reading and listening to people pooh-poohing the thesis I laid out in the morning—namely, that the U.S. Justice Department was putting roadblocks in the way of the proposed AT&T-Time Warner merger because President Donald Trump wanted to stick it to CNN, which is a Time Warner Inc. property.
