And as I’m sure you’ve heard by now, inflation more generally surged by the most in nearly four decades in the U.S. last year. A similar story has been playing out across the globe.
What are you supposed to do about all this? The everyday person can’t singlehandedly stamp out higher prices. (Although if you figure out a way, please email me.) Debate is raging over how and even if central banks can turn the tide. Consumer sentiment has been sagging and inflation is largely to blame.
