Hillhouse Is Said to Be Near Taking 17% Stake in Hong Kong’s Modern Dental

Hillhouse Investment purchased a significant minority stake of about 17% in Hong Kong-listed Modern Dental Group Ltd. for nearly HK$935 million ($120 million).

The alternative asset manager bought 161.2 million shares of the dental company off exchange at an average price of HK$5.8 each on Jan. 19, according to an exchange filing on Friday, confirming an earlier Bloomberg News report.
