Fewer international students are applying to US colleges this year, an early indication that the White House push to curtail foreign enrollment since President Donald Trump took office in January may be having an impact.

The number of international applicants through Nov. 1st fell 9% from a year earlier, according to a report released Thursday by Common App, the most widely used college application platform in the country with more than 1,100 university members.
