Three Deaths Reported as NYC Legionnaires’ Outbreak Spreads
An outbreak of Legionnaires’ disease in New York City’s Central Harlem neighborhood has now caused three deaths, and health officials are still trying to track down the source.
The New York City Health Department said Tuesday that 67 people have been sickened from the Legionella bacteria. No other details about the deaths were provided. The department reported 30 cases on July 31.
