PE Firm Aurelius Raises €830 Million for New Flagship Fund

Private equity firm Aurelius has raised €830 million ($955 million) for its new flagship fund that targets mid-market investments in Europe and North America.

Aurelius Opportunities Fund V was significantly oversubscribed with the fundraising completed in five months, according to a statement on Wednesday that confirmed an earlier Bloomberg News report. The fund looks to acquire companies with potential for operational improvement, targeting firms with annual revenues of at least €100 million and equity tickets of as much as €150 million.
