On Dec. 10, the US Trump administration rolled out a new visa program targeting the world’s wealthy — a “Trump Gold Card” for individuals who pay $1 million. The program, first announced in February, is an effort to encourage the world’s wealthy to emigrate to the US by offering them residency permits for a hefty price tag.
