EQT Agrees to $3.4 Billion Deal for Medical Device Firm Zeus

Buyout firm EQT AB has agreed to acquire medical device component manufacturer Zeus in a transaction that ranks among the largest health-care buyouts this year.

Stockholm-headquartered EQT will buy Zeus from its family owners via its EQT X fund, according to a statement on Monday that confirmed an earlier Bloomberg News report. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
