Mugabe Plans China Visit to Seek Infrastructure Funding

Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe plans to visit China this month to seek additional infrastructure funding for the Southern African Development Community, he said today.

Mugabe, 90, who assumed chairmanship of the regional bloc, closed an annual SADC summit in Zimbabwe’s resort town of Victoria Falls today, saying he would “discuss infrastructural projects” that “add value” to regional products.
