President-elect Donald Trump said Wednesday he plans to nominate former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. partner Steven Mnuchin as the next U.S. Treasury secretary, a key cabinet decision as he assembles a team to fulfill his campaign pledge to boost the world’s largest economy.

Trump plans to nominate billionaire investor Wilbur Ross as Commerce secretary and Todd Ricketts, co-owner of the Chicago Cubs baseball team, as deputy Commerce secretary, he said in a statement.
