Here's a look at Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's poll standings juxtaposed with some of his more controversial comments. While it's impossible to know if there's a direct correlation, the results are there to ponder.
Will his vulgar commentary yesterday on Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton's bathroom break and 2008 defeat hurt his standing? History suggests not. The latest poll from CNN/ORC was completed after his call for all Muslims to be banned from entering the country and before his comments on Clinton. He's up again, this time garnering more support (39 percent) than his next three rivals combined (38 percent).
