It will take more than month before U.S. health officials will be ready to declare an end to the Ebola threat in Dallas, the head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said yesterday.

CDC specialists, along with state and local health workers, are monitoring about 50 people, down from 100, in Dallas for symptoms of Ebola after coming into contact with patient Thomas Eric Duncan or others Duncan met, health officials said today as they trace the network of potential exposures in the city.
