Infineon Forecast Beats as AI Boosts Power Chip Business
Infineon Technologies AG forecast revenue that beat analysts’ expectations in the current quarter as the German chipmaker benefits from a spending boom on artificial intelligence infrastructure.
Revenue for its fiscal third quarter, which ends in June, will be around €4.1 billion ($4.8 billion), Infineon said in a statement on Wednesday. That compares to an average analyst estimate of €4.04 billion, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. Chief Executive Officer Jochen Hanebeck said on a call that 2026 sales are on track to grow about 10% to more than €16 billion.
