Guggenheim’s Schwartz Warns Power Crunch Imperils US in AI Race
Guggenheim Partners Executive Chair Alan Schwartz warned that the US risks falling behind in artificial intelligence development if it fails to address critical infrastructure challenges facing the nation’s electrical grid.
The US faces an unprecedented surge in power demand after decades of relatively flat consumption, driven by both economy-wide electrification and power-hungry AI data centers, Schwartz said Tuesday in a Bloomberg Television interview.
