Charlotte Wins $215 Million Financing for New Airport Runway

Charlotte received the green light on Tuesday to issue $215 million in revenue bonds that will finance a new runway at Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

The planned 10,000 foot runway will be the airport’s fourth, and is part of the facility’s roughly $4 billion capital plan to expand capacity and modernize.
