ADM Sees Biofuels Policy, Renewed China Trade Boosting Profits
Archer-Daniels-Midland Co. is seeing a brighter year ahead for crop trading, with clearer US biofuels policy and expectations for renewed soybean trade with China boosting results.
Executives for the Chicago-based company said Tuesday they anticipate China will resume a “normalized buying pattern” in the fourth quarter, after trade relations between the two countries were strained last year by Trump administration tariffs.
