Lai will not depart for Eswatini on Wednesday as planned, according to Pan Men-an, secretary-general of the Presidential Office in Taipei. Seychelles, Madagascar and Mauritius withdrew their approval for Lai’s flight to travel through their airspace, Pan said at a briefing.
