NASA may not have new lunar spacesuits ready by the time the agency hopes to land humans back on the moon in 2028, according to a new US government audit.

The agency’s Office of Inspector General warned in a report released Monday that suits being developed by Houston-based Axiom Space Inc. may not be ready until 2031 if the company experiences delays typical of past spacesuit development.
