Danish Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen broadened his minority government to a three-party coalition as he seeks to build a more solid parliamentary foundation for his agenda of tax cuts and limited public spending.

The Liberal Alliance and Conservative Party are joining Rasmussen’s Liberal Party in government, the three announced at a press conference at the premier’s Marienborg residence outside Copenhagen on Sunday. They will still need support of the anti-immigration Danish People’s Party for a majority in parliament.
