China Postal Bank Boasts World’s Biggest Branch Network: Chart

Postal Savings Bank of China Co., which is preparing an IPO that could raise about $8 billion, has more outlets than any listed bank globally. The lender will seek to convince investors its vast reach across the Chinese hinterland can be tapped to sell more products to its 505 million retail customers. The network of Beijing-based Postal Savings Bank is nearly double State Bank of India’s outlet count and almost five times that of Wells Fargo & Co.
