Elon Musk's SpaceX landed a rocket on an ocean droneship for the second time, part of the billionaire's drive to prove reusable spacecraft can drive down the costs of exploring the universe.
The latest mission sent a communications satellite into orbit for SKY Perfect JSAT Holdings of Japan. SpaceX said because the Falcon 9 rocket returned at high speed, a successful landing was unlikely. The landing occurred Friday off the coast of Florida, the company said on Twitter.
