Four Federal Reserve leaders of the past and present will share the stage Thursday, just as the world economy could use some of their collective wisdom.
Janet Yellen, who in 2014 became the first woman to lead the U.S. central bank, will appear with her predecessors Ben S. Bernanke, Alan Greenspan and Paul Volcker for a discussion at about 5:30 p.m. in New York. The event at the International House marks the first time the four Fed chiefs have gathered for a joint public appearance.
