Zurich Insurance Advances Management Revamp With New Life CEO

Zurich Insurance Group AG appointed Gary Shaughnessy as chief executive officer of its Global Life business as the company revamps its leadership for the second time in two years.
Shaughnessy, 49, had been head of Zurich’s U.K. life insurance business as well as interim CEO of global life in Europe the Middle East and Asia, the company said in a statement Monday. The appointment is effective on Jan. 1.
