Phil Bentley, the former Centrica Plc executive who has run Cable & Wireless Communications Plc for less than two years, said his management team is one reason John Malone’s Liberty Global Plc is paying $5.3 billion for the Caribbean phone carrier.

While there is no culture clash between Cable & Wireless and Liberty Global, decisions about managers for the enlarged company will likely take place after the deal closes in the second quarter, Bentley said in an interview with Bloomberg TV Tuesday. "After that, we will have to see what happens," he said.
