China Defense Stocks Rally as U.S. Navy Patrol Risks Tensions

China’s aerospace and maritime-related stocks climbed after a U.S. Navy warship sailed near islands built by the Asian nation in the South China Sea.
Aerosun Corp., which makes parts for the aviation industry, and Aerospace Communications Holdings Group Co. both jumped by the daily 10 percent limit at the close in Shanghai. CSSC Offshore & Marine Engineering Group Co. also surged by the maximum permitted. The Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.1 percent.
