Mediobanca Hires Goldman Sachs De Palacio for Finance Clients

Mediobanca SpA hired Gonzalo De Palacio Rodriguez from Goldman Sachs Group Inc. to advise financial companies in Spain, Portugal and Latin America.
De Palacio, who starts today, is based in Madrid and will report to Francesco Canzonieri, who leads the European team within the Financial Institutions Group, according to an internal memo obtained by Bloomberg News and confirmed by a Mediobanca spokesman.
