Peru kept borrowing costs unchanged as policy makers look for more signs inflation is under control after the central bank unexpectedly increased the key lending rate last month.
Policy makers, led by bank President Julio Velarde, maintained the rate at 3.5 percent, matching the median estimate of 18 economists surveyed by Bloomberg.
