European Stocks Little Changed as Investors Weigh Recovery

European stocks were little changed, as investors weighed signs that the region’s economy is recovering, after shares yesterday had their worst decline in a month.
The Stoxx Europe 600 Index gained 0.1 percent at the close. A report showing the euro-area economy probably maintained its 0.4 percent rate of expansion in the third quarter and will continue to grow boosted equities in early trading. Shares pared gains in the afternoon after European Central Bank President Mario Draghi said the ECB needs time to consider whether risks to the economic outlook warrant a step-up in stimulus.
