Jackie Collins, Novelist Who Sold 500 Million Books, Dies at 77

Jackie Collins, the novelist whose raunchy tales of glamor and fame sold more than 500 million books in a writing career spanning almost a half century, has died. She was 77.

Collins died of breast cancer on Saturday, her family said in a statement posted on her website. Her older sister, the actress Joan Collins, told People magazine she was “completely devastated”.
