A former Jefferies Group saleswoman, suing the investment bank for 3.5 million pounds ($5.4 million), said she was deliberately excluded from a work ski trip so men could indulge in alcohol-fueled parties and sexual activity.
Dalal Alaoui Belghiti, who worked on the company’s European credit sales team until she quit in March 2014, said at a London trial that the annual ski trip for employees and high-yield clients "evolved into a men-only trip," and denied her the opportunity to network with important clients. The bank called her claim meritless.
