While German Chancellor Angela Merkel lauds Ireland’s economic turnaround, her compatriot at Moody’s Investors Service is less impressed.
Kathrin Muehlbronner led the ratings company’s Irish team that surprised analysts last week when it decided against lifting the nation to an A grade. Muehlbronner said in an interview on Monday that the nation’s debt level and a looming general election were reasons for standing still.
