The U.S. Open is cleaning up tennis.
The event’s organizers have calculated how much greenhouse-gas pollution tennis stars including Serena Williams and Roger Federer are generating to travel to the tournament in New York this week and next. And they’re buying enough carbon credits to offset it all.
