It’s finally happening: Iceland is returning to the club of rich-world economies it inhabited before 2008.

It may not reclaim its former AAA rating any time soon (Moody’s Investors Service, which gave Iceland the top credit grade until May 2008, now has it at Baa2) but the island’s economic growth and unemployment statistics are at levels most euro-zone members can only dream of.
