Liberty Interactive Corp. agreed to buy Zulily Inc. for $2.4 billion, adding an online retailer targeted at young moms to its QVC home-shopping TV network.

The price comes to $18.75 a share, which is 49 percent higher than Friday’s closing price but also a fraction of Zulily’s record of $72.75 in February 2014. Liberty Interactive will provide $9.375 in cash and 0.3098 newly issued shares of QVC trading stock for each Zulily share, according to a statementBloomberg Terminal Monday.
