Burundi Arrests Members of Military Over General’s Assassination

Burundi authorities said they arrested members of the army accused of involvement in a rocket attack that killed a presidential adviser two weeks ago.
Four army members appeared before a court on Sunday and are being investigated for their links to the Aug. 2 killing of General Adolphe Nshimirimana, a former intelligence chief and adviser to President Pierre Nkurunziza, Prosecutor General Valentin Bagorikunda said Sunday on national television.
