For Beijing’s 2022 Winter Olympics, Expect a More Confident Host

When the crowds arrive in Beijing for the 2022 Winter Olympics, they will find a much different country than the one that hosted them for the 2008 Summer games.

By 2022, gross domestic product is forecast to more than double from 2010. The country will produce more than double the wind power of the U.S. China will have 126.5 million more people over the age of 65 than it does now.
