Sharp Corp. said it will sell its Mexico unit after posting a third straight quarterly loss on slumping sales of televisions and solar panels.
The net loss widened to 34 billion yen ($274 million) in the three months ended June, compared with a 1.8 billion yen deficit a year earlier, Osaka-based Sharp said Friday. Sales were 618 billion yen, little changed from the previous year.
