Ukraine’s parliament gave preliminary approval to constitutional changes aimed at giving more power to separatist-held regions in the nation’s east in a bid to meet the terms of a February peace accord.
Backed by 288 lawmakers in the 450-seat legislature, the draft law was sent to the Constitutional Court for review.
