Reddit Chief Executive Officer Steve Huffman, who took the reins of the online forum last week, said the site will continue to ban comments that incite violence and any containing private information. Some objectionable content will remain in a less visible form.

Also outlawed are posts with illegal content; messages that bully, harass or abuse an individual or group; sexually suggestive content featuring minors; and spam, Huffman said in a statement published Thursday on Reddit.
