The U.K. should monitor air, land and water around shale gas fracking operations to overcome some of the concerns associated with the business, an industry group said.

The public should also have the right to know what chemicals are being used, according to the second report released Wednesday by the Task Force on Shale Gas. Reduced flaring through green completions mandated in the U.S. should also be required in the U.K. for production wells, it said.
