Euro Area Asks Greece for Aid Bid Details as Extension Rejected

Euro-area finance ministers will discuss Greece’s new aid bid again at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, after its current program expires.
Greece didn’t win an extension or a fast track to new aid payments, Eurogroup chief and Dutch Finance Minister Jeroen Dijsselbloem said in The Hague after Tuesday’s conference call. While they’re ready to hear Greece out, ministers are skeptical about Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras’s bid for a two-year deal, according to three officials with knowledge of the call.
