MNC Said to Compete With Axiata, Indosat for CVC’s Link Net

MNC Group, Indonesia’s largest media company, is vying with wireless carriers PT XL Axiata and PT Indosat for control of local Internet provider PT Link Net, people with knowledge of the matter said.
The Indonesian firms are among suitors that bid for a majority stake in Jakarta-based Link Net being sold by the broadband company’s two biggest shareholders, Lippo Group and CVC Capital Partners Ltd., the people said. They asked not to be identified as the information is private.
