Stan Wawrinka kept hitting winners, each shot bringing him closer to his first French Open title and denying Novak Djokovic the chance to complete a full set of Grand Slam singles crowns.
The No. 8 seed from Switzerland beat the top-ranked Serb, 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 6-4 on the main Court Philippe Chatrier at Roland Garros in Paris on Sunday.
