Qatar’s stocks advanced after the re-election of FIFA’s president reduced concern that Doha’s hosting of the soccer World Cup is in jeopardy.
The benchmark QE Index climbed 1.2 percent, the most in almost five weeks, to 12,048.26 at the close in the capital, paring its decline this month to 1 percent. Dubai’s DFM General Index retreated 1.9 percent, bringing its drop this month to 7.2 percent, the most in the Middle East. Abu Dhabi’s measure added
