Here are some planned amenities at Nile Niami’s 100,000-square-foot (9,300-square-meter) Los Angeles compound that contribute to its $500 million asking price:

-- Entertainment: 8,500-square-foot nightclub, Monaco-style casino and movie theater with seating for 45.

-- Fitness: three outdoor pools, tennis court, bowling alley, spa and gym with indoor pool.

-- Relaxation: 5,000-square-foot master bedroom with twin walk-in closets, bathrooms, sitting room, office area and adjoining infinity pool. “It’s like a private quarters in a palace,” said Paul McClean, the home’s architect.

-- View: floor-to-ceiling windows look onto surrounding hills, the cityscape and the Pacific Ocean. An elevator climbs to a 3,000-square-foot rooftop “sky deck.”

-- Contemplation: jellyfish tanks cover three walls and the ceiling of a room where shifting lights illuminate the undersea creatures.

-- Parking: 30-car garage.

-- Visitors: 5,000-square-foot guesthouse with 180-foot infinity pool.

-- Staff: eight-bedroom quarters for the help.

-- Neighbors: fellow Bel Air residents include Nancy Reagan, the former first lady, and Tesla Motors Inc. Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk.
