MLB, NHL Fans Win Approval to Try and Change Way Games Aired

Baseball and hockey fans took another step forward in their bid to make it cheaper to watch their favorite out-of-town teams on television and over the Internet.

A U.S. judge in New York Thursday allowed the fans to sue Major League Baseball, the National Hockey League, clubs and cable and satellite providers as a group over claims the leagues violate antitrust law with their control of broadcasting rights.
